About Airdrie-Fleming Family
Please sign in to see more.
In a quest to find my Airdrie family history, I unraveled not only the lineage but an interesting story of a family that centered itself in the Rhins of Galloway in Wigtownshire, Scotland in the parish of Stoneykirk.

The family story starts in Ireland, carries back over to Scotland, then on to Wales, Canada, Australia and the United States. My grandfather's lineage centers in Ontario, Canada with some of his siblings settling in and around the Guelph & Wellington, Ontario area. Many of the Airdrie's were involved in one way or another with agriculture while a handful of others were in the military.

My husband's part of the tree - the Fleming line, has history back to 1849 in Canada and we are still researching to find where in the U.K. his Fleming's came from and what their story is.

We are only beginning our quest here so enjoy as you read through. I would love to hear from you.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
